FAQs

Massage sessions are scheduled by time rather than by specific techniques. This allows me to fully tailor each session to your body’s needs that day. You don’t need to know what type of massage you want in advance—your session may include a blend of techniques such as relaxation work, deeper therapeutic focus, stretching, or other supportive methods based on your goals and preferences.
If you’re specifically seeking Reiki or Craniosacral Therapy, those are offered as standalone sessions and should be booked separately. These sessions focus solely on their respective modalities and are not combined with massage unless otherwise noted.
If you’re ever unsure which option is best for you, you’re always welcome to reach out for guidance.

During your first session, I’ll ask you a few questions about your health, any areas of tension or discomfort, and your wellness goals. From there, I’ll customize your massage to meet your specific needs. You can expect a comfortable, relaxing experience where you are fully listened to, and I’ll check in with you throughout to ensure you’re feeling at ease.

It’s best to hydrate before and after your session, as this helps with muscle recovery. Please also avoid heavy meals right before your massage. Additionally, be sure to fill out the intake form that will be emailed to you before your appointment so I can tailor your session to your specific needs.

The frequency of your massages depends on your individual needs. If you're looking to manage stress, regular monthly or bi-weekly sessions can be beneficial. If you’re recovering from injury or dealing with chronic pain, more frequent sessions might be helpful. Let’s discuss your goals to determine the right schedule for you!

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses light touch to release tension in the membranes and fascia surrounding your brain and spinal cord. It’s not massage — there’s no deep pressure or muscle work. Instead, CST helps your cerebrospinal fluid flow more freely, supporting your nervous system's ability to self-correct and heal.
The results are subtle, often felt as deep relaxation, clarity, or gradual pain relief — and they tend to build over time with consistent sessions.

As a solo practitioner, I currently do not offer couple’s massage. My focus is on providing personalized, one-on-one care during each session. However, I’m happy to accommodate both individuals for separate appointments and can help coordinate times that work for both of you.

My practice is wheelchair accessible, and has a disability accessible restroom. My room is small, however, and may not be easy to navigate in a wheelchair.
Please ensure that if you need assistance getting on or off the massage table, that you bring someone with you who can help you.
